The ASTOPAD resistive, reusable patient warming system is safe and simple to operate. Ithelps prevent and treat hypothermia throughout the perioperative journey for all surgical patients. The ASTOPAD has 2 independently controlled connections enabling the patient to be warmed simultaneously. Warming blankets can be placed over or underneath the patient. The temperature settings of the controller range from 32C 39C and can be set individually in precise 0.5C increments. All ASTOPAD blankets are made of Gentherms proprietary Carbotex radiolucent heating technology. Each blanket is designed with 8 sensors enabling enhanced patient safety and precise temperature control.
