A 1 hour discussion on current DUWL Water Quality Testing Topics

  • In depth review of DUWL water quality standard precautions and process

  • A review and update on current standardized government protocol and logging requirements

  • Discussion around dental unit Maintenance, Cleaning, Testing, and Recording for optimal water quality results.

Don Johnston

Don has accumulated a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in sales and territory management within the medical industry, with a focus on dentistry for 10 of those years. His primary area of expertise lies in consumable and cosmetic dental products, and he possesses a deep understanding of the chemistry behind their impact on optimal oral health. Don has been actively involved in imparting his knowledge, lecturing at George Brown and Durham colleges annually, where he educates graduating year Dental Assistants and Hygienist students on Tooth Whitening. As an extension of his commitment to dental education, Don has dedicated significant time to working on Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) and managing aerosols in recent years. Don has also delivered professional presentations to various dental groups, ranging in size from 20 to 100 participants, showcasing his passion for fostering education and development within the dental community.

Gabriella Meroli

Gabriella has accrued over 15 years of experience in the oral health industry, initially as a dental assistant. Gabriella later obtained a diploma of Dental Hygiene at Algonquin College in 2012. After several years of specializing in periodontics and dental implant consulting, Gabriella furthered her career by leading future dental professionals in clinical settings through education, volunteering and coaching. As an active member of the BC College of Oral Health and now holding a bachelor’s degree in Dental Science from University of British Columbia , Gabriella’s passion continues to grow with desire to improve population health by educating oral health professionals and advocating for current evidence-based methodologies.
