SURGISEAL topical skin adhesives are intended for topical applications only to hold closed easily approximated skin edges of wounds from surgical incisions, including punctures from minimally invasive surgery, and simple, thoroughly cleansed, trauma induced lacerations. SURGISEAL topical skin adhesives may be used in conjunction with, but not in place of, deep dermal sutures. The SurgiSeal Stylus applicator is designed for ease of handling and targeted application. Features include: Glass-free resivoir containing 0.5 mL of SurgiSeal Topical Skin Adhesive Rigid sleeve helps prevent bending of applicator during adhesive application Applicator design helps avoid dripping or oversaturation of the adhesive during appliucation Colour-changing tip in the presence of adhesive Angled applicator tip Perforation in the middle of applicator tip allows of east of adhesive flow A single, thick continuous layer may be sufficient to hold approximated wound edges closed for five to 10 days.
