The Q-Box requires routine inspection, cleaning, disinfection, and calibration to ensure safe and accurate operation. Patient-contact components and breathing circuits should be cleaned and disinfected according to the IFU, with COSMED antibacterial filters used with the PNT X9 flowmeter. The PNT X9 must be calibrated between subjects, and routine checks should be performed on cables, plugs, breathing components, the door, chair, gasket, and overall system condition. Recommended maintenance also includes daily pressure/volume calibration, weekly flow linearity checks, monthly system inspections and biological controls, quarterly airway resistance checks, and periodic replacement of the sampling line. Repairs or modifications should only be completed by qualified personnel.

  • Yes, depending on cabin configuration and software selection.

  • High-precision gas analyzers integrated into the system for DLCO and lung volume testing.
